Look Good, Feel Better Workshop Kishwaukee Cancer Services FREE, 6:30 pm, Apr. 13, July 13 (Registration Required)

Registration Required. This free program teaches beauty techniques to women who are actively undergoing cancer treatment to help them combat the appearance-related side effects of radiation and chemotherapy. Come and learn tips for skin care, makeup, hair care, and wigs. All participants will receive a free kit of cosmetics (valued up to $200). |
| Living Anew

Registration Required. Living Anew is a 6 week program to reclaim your life by taking control and managing your life to improve your chances of surviving cancer. Each session will provide education, have group discussion, and include clinical hypnosis. You will learn stress management skills and cognitive behavioral techniques to minimize anxiety and depression. Caregivers are welcome to attend this program also. Breast Self-Examination Training

Learn proper technique for Breast Self-Examination using the Mamma Care method, a recognized standard throughout the world. Women and clinicians properly trained in this technique have found breast cancers as small as 3 mm in diameter.
