The 12th annual “Fizz” Ehrler Memorial Car Show event in Sycamore, held on July 31, raised money for The Cancer Center at Kishwaukee Community Hospital. The Turning Back Time Car Club has chosen to donate money raised at the annual car show to The Cancer Center for the last three years, among other local organizations each year. The car show, which is part of the Turning Back Time Weekend, is an all day event, which welcomes car enthusiasts from all over the region.
This year, $931.55 was donated to The Cancer Center, with a total of $5,956.55 since 2009. Renee Ellingson, executive director, KishHealth Foundation said, “We are so grateful to the Turning Back Time Car Club for supporting The Cancer Center for the last three years. Their donations have and will continue to help many patients and their families in our community.”
The 2011 Turning Back Time Car Club members were Chuck Criswell, Les Gibbens, Terry Wheeler, Ray Feltz, Guy Stone, John Pierce, Mike Tritle, and Curtis Holman.
