Clinical Trials

TreatmentAre you interested in learning more about clinical trials? The Loyola Center for Cancer Care & Research at Kishwaukee Community Hospital is located inside The Cancer Center, where you have local access to experimental treatments and clinical research trials done by local physicians with support from Loyola’s world-class cancer specialists. This affiliation brings additional oncology services to the community, reducing the need for you to travel out of town.

The physicians at The Cancer Center encourage patients to participate in clinical trials and will discuss options and studies available. Our clinical research nurse coordinates care for cancer patients enrolled in a clinical trial. If allowed by the protocol of the clinical trial, The Cancer Center will administer some or all of the medications, working closely with Loyola.
